ZheSock Custom Sock Manufacturing Co., Ltd. ("ZheSock", "we", "our", or "us") respects the privacy of every brand, importer, distributor and individual visitor who interacts with us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal and business information we collect through https://www.zhesock.com, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have as a data subject under GDPR, CCPA and other applicable regulations.

1. What Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to respond to your inquiry, fulfill an order, comply with the law, or improve our website. Specifically:

• Inquiry form data — name, company, business email, phone / WhatsApp, country, business type, product category, target quantity, target delivery date, target unit price, project details, and any reference file you choose to upload.
• Direct correspondence — content of emails, WeChat / WhatsApp / Skype messages, and call notes you share with our sales team.
• Order and shipping records — billing entity, shipping address, port of discharge, payment terms, HS codes, and customs documentation needed to manufacture and ship goods to you.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, time on page. Collected via standard server logs and aggregated analytics only.
• Cookies — we use strictly necessary cookies for site functionality and aggregated first-party analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. Why We Collect It (Legal Basis)

• Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps — to quote, sample, manufacture, ship and invoice your custom sock order.
• Legitimate interest — to operate our website, respond to B2B inquiries, prevent fraud, and continuously improve our products and service.
• Legal obligation — to comply with Chinese tax law, customs export regulations, and applicable foreign trade compliance requirements.
• Consent — for any optional marketing communications, only when you opt in.

3. How Long We Keep It

Inquiry data is retained for 24 months from last contact and then archived or anonymized. Order, shipping and invoice records are retained for 10 years to satisfy Chinese accounting and customs retention requirements. Server logs are rotated after 90 days. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).

4. Who We Share It With

We do not sell or rent your data. We share the minimum necessary information with the following categories of trusted parties:

• Logistics partners — DHL, FedEx, UPS, ocean freight forwarders, and customs brokers, to ship and clear your goods.
• Payment processors and banks — to process T/T transfers, L/C, PayPal sample fees and Trade Assurance escrows.
• Material and component suppliers — yarn mills, packaging vendors, embroidery shops, only the production-relevant specifications, never your contact data or commercial terms.
• Third-party inspection bodies (SGS, BV, Intertek, TUV) — only when you commission an inspection.
• Government agencies — when legally required (customs declarations, tax filings, regulatory audits).
• Form processor — our website inquiry form is delivered via a third-party form-to-email service that processes submissions on our behalf under a data processing agreement. No data is stored on the processor beyond delivery.

5. International Data Transfers

Because ZheSock is based in China and our customers are global, your data will be transferred from your country to China, and may further be transferred to logistics or compliance partners in other jurisdictions. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent mechanisms where legally required, and apply equivalent security measures regardless of where data is processed.

6. How We Protect It

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, restricted role-based access for our sales and operations teams, multi-factor authentication on all administrative accounts, regular security reviews of third-party processors, and signed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) on request for any customer design, tech pack or sample.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability, receive your data in machine-readable format

8. Children
