For this type of sock, start with the pressure spec first. 15 to 20 mmHg is common for training, travel, and recovery use. 20 to 30 mmHg is firmer and is usually chosen by teams, clinics, and serious athletes who want more hold around the calf and ankle. Ask for verified mmHg by size, not a single claim for all pairs. Calf height, ankle girth, foot length, and rib placement all affect the final fit.
Material choice changes cost and wear. Most buyers use nylon plus elastane for compression control, then add a small amount of polyester or cotton only if the hand feel or sweat management needs it. If the sock will be sold for sports recovery, ask for anti-microbial treatment and a tighter rib at the arch. For branding, jacquard logos and knit-in size marks are the safest. Printed logos can crack on a high stretch body. MOQ is 200 pairs per color or design. More colors, more sizes, or extra yarn colors will raise unit cost.
