FBA-Specific Packaging Requirements

Every pair shipped to Amazon FBA must include:

• Individual polybag - each pair in its own sealed transparent polybag
• Suffocation warning label - if polybag opening is over 5 inches, mandatory CPSC warning label printed on the bag
• FNSKU barcode label - Amazon-generated unique barcode per SKU+condition, applied so it scans easily
• Made in China label - permanent country-of-origin label on every pair
• Care and content label - fiber content and care instructions per FTC requirements
• Master carton labels - shipment ID, FBA carton ID, ship-from/ship-to addresses

Direct-to-FBA Shipping

We ship FBA cartons directly to your assigned Amazon fulfillment center, including:

• Amazon Partnered Carrier program - we book FBA-discounted freight through your Amazon account
• SPD (Small Parcel Delivery) - for orders under 5,000 pairs, ships via UPS or FedEx
• LTL (Less-than-Truckload) - for 5,000-15,000 pair orders
• FTL (Full Truckload) - for 15,000+ pair orders, often via Amazon DC bypass

We handle all FBA-specific paperwork: shipment workflow upload, carton dimensions and weights, hazmat declarations (rare for socks), and tracking numbers.

Common FBA Mistakes We Prevent

• Polybag opening over 5 inches without suffocation warning, Amazon will reject the shipment
• FNSKU label placed where it cant scan (under polybag seal, behind hangtag)
• Missing country-of-origin label, Amazon will sticker over it and charge $0.20/unit
• Cartons over 50 lb (22.7 kg) - Amazon will charge $0.30/lb extra
• Wrong carton labels (using SKU instead of FNSKU)
• Mixed SKUs in same carton without divider sheets
• Shipping to wrong FBA warehouse (different SKUs may have different assignments)
